Baby shower invitations....

I know it's been about 3 weeks since I've been able to post anything... life just sometimes gets in the way of our hobbies.... and it certainly did to me! But I do want to share the invitations I just finished making for the baby shower I'm having for my daughter. Can you tell by looking at the cards that the baby is a girl????? Actually, it's for my sweet grandbaby Lily, who has already blessed us with her arrival.

Stamps: Sweet & Simple Salutations, and the "It's a Shower" stamp is one from the $1 bin at Michael's.

Ink: Black Stazon

Paper: Pretty in Pink, Whisper White, and non SU designer papers.

Also used were SU Watercolor Crayons, Marvy oval scallop punch, and pink stitched ribbon.

It's hard to believe that we're already into the month of July....what happened to June??? The main image used on this card is a stamp that SU issued right after the tragedy of 9/11. The entire purchase price of the stamp was donated to the fund created to provide services for the victims and their families.
