I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!  Before we go into the new year, I wanted to post my Christmas card I made for 2019.

I used a base using Stampin' UP's Cherry Cobbler and added a single layer of both black and gold on top of that. The top layer is a pretty green plaid DP made by Craftsmart from a collection called Christmas Plaids. Besides the papers, here are the other items I used to make this Christmas card.

SU - Layering Circles dies
SU - Framelits - Holiday Collection
SU - Subtle 3D Embossing Folder
SU - Braided Linen Trim 3/16"
SU - Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set
MFT - Die-namics - Blueprints 3

Wishing you all a Safe, Healthy, Happy New Year!

HOLIDAY PILLOW BOXES

Happy December!

Here it is, December 1st. The Christmas season has officially started and with it comes new, fun, stamping projects to share.  I decided to make some pillow boxes. These little boxes are great for jewelry, mints, or small "thinking of you" gifts!

I used two sweet little images from Kitty Bee Designs, Santa Owl and Santa Kal-Bee. The great thing about digital images is that you can make them any size you need them to be. Being small pillow boxes, it was perfect using digital images to keep the image small for the boxes. Here's a list of what I used to make them.

MFT - Square Pillow Box Die-namic
Elizabeth Craft Designs - Sprig w/berries die
SU - Garden Green and Baroque Burgundy card stock
The Paper Studio - Stitched Holly DP
SU - 3/8" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon
Copics - Various Colors
Snowflake Embellishments

CHRISTMAS PACKET

Well, it's that time of year again. Time to make cards and gifts for the Christmas holiday season. I am sharing with you today a Christmas packet I've made that all coordinates with each other.

The one on the left is a gift tag, the center piece is a matching Christmas card, and the item on the right is a gift card holder. It was a fun set to make once I decided what papers I was going to use.
Thanks for stopping by!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLAUDIA

It's hard for me to believe that my youngest granddaughter is 6 years old today. This is the card I made for her to celebrate her special day.

Pink is her favorite color, so of course her card had to be pink too. And who can resist cupcakes???  Especially 6 of them....like the birthday girl.

HAPPY 6th BIRTHDAY CLAUDIA!

REMOVING STAMPS FROM THEIR WOOD BLOCKS

I couldn't wait to show you the project I've been working on for the past several months. I have unmounted all of my Stampin' Up stamp sets (that I am going to keep) from their wood blocks!
Just look at the space they used to take up! The front two bins are filled with the stamp sets that used to be in all of those cases stacked around them. The bins don't take up very much room. They fit nicely on a shelf now.

The front and back of what they look like now.

It was a big job and it did take a long time to get these all done. But I'm so glad I decided to go ahead and do this. NO REGRETS! I still have about 125 sets (not in the picture) that will be sold and donated. A big thank you to Brenda and Lucy who helped with the project!

Until next time...

CHRISTMAS IN JULY

Hi everyone! The theme this month for a swap I joined is Christmas in July. Wow, it seems strange making a Christmas card in the middle of the summer in 90 degree heat, but I just love snowmen so it was actually fun.  :)

Here are the products I used to make this months swap card...

SU - Real Red and Garden Green card stock
Strathmore Bristol Smooth White Heavyweight Paper
Hero Arts - Merry Little Christmas Snow Group
Copic - B00
Zig Markers - Various colors

The recipient of my card lives down in Texas where it's even hotter. I'm sure it will seem strange to her while making her swap card too. I also decorated my envelope with a very winter themed design. I wonder what the mail person who delivers it is going to think..... LOL

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!

Happy 4th of July!!

I don't very often make cards with a patriotic theme, but I really like them! Here are the few things that it took to make this card.

SU - Brilliant Blue and Real Red card stock and ink
Stampabilities - Waving Glory
SU - 1 3/4" circle punch
SU - Starburst punch
Copics - R29, YR24, B29

I've had this wonderful background stamp for years and don't know who the manufacturer of it is. I bought it one year at a stamp convention. I found it in a big bin of unmounted stamps the vendor had. I hope you enjoy this wonderful holiday.

God Bless America!
