HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLAUDIA

It's hard for me to believe that my youngest granddaughter is 6 years old today. This is the card I made for her to celebrate her special day.

Pink is her favorite color, so of course her card had to be pink too. And who can resist cupcakes???  Especially 6 of them....like the birthday girl.

It's my favorite time of the year again....and my favorite holiday, Halloween! I decided to make a little goody bag. We all like goodies!  :)

The tag was made using the Sizzix Super Scallop Tag die, along with the following things to design it...

REMOVING STAMPS FROM THEIR WOOD BLOCKS

I couldn't wait to show you the project I've been working on for the past several months. I have unmounted all of my Stampin' Up stamp sets (that I am going to keep) from their wood blocks!

Just look at the space they used to take up! The front two bins are filled with the stamp sets that used to be in all of those cases stacked around them. The bins don't take up very much room. They fit nicely on a shelf now.

It was a big job and it did take a long time to get these all done. But I'm so glad I decided to go ahead and do this. NO REGRETS! I still have about 125 sets (not in the picture) that will be sold and donated. A big thank you to Brenda and Lucy who helped with the project!

CREATEFUL HEART DESIGN

I have been asked to be on the design team for Createful Heart Design! I have accepted my new challenge and will start designing for them beginning in the month of October.

I'm looking forward to being part of the team and designing cards for them using their digital images. They will be adding some digital paper, along with their stamp line, in the near future.

The year is flying by on us. The kids are back in school and the temperatures in New England are getting chilly at night. I decided to make my September spotlight card with the thoughts of Back to School. The little Panda is ready with his pen.....

CHRISTMAS IN JULY

Hi everyone! The theme this month for a swap I joined is Christmas in July. Wow, it seems strange making a Christmas card in the middle of the summer in 90 degree heat, but I just love snowmen so it was actually fun.  :)

The recipient of my card lives down in Texas where it's even hotter. I'm sure it will seem strange to her while making her swap card too. I also decorated my envelope with a very winter themed design. I wonder what the mail person who delivers it is going to think..... LOL

Happy 4th of July!!

I don't very often make cards with a patriotic theme, but I really like them! Here are the few things that it took to make this card.

I've had this wonderful background stamp for years and don't know who the manufacturer of it is. I bought it one year at a stamp convention. I found it in a big bin of unmounted stamps the vendor had. I hope you enjoy this wonderful holiday.

This is the card I made for my spotlight over at Kitty Bee Designs this month.
