FIREFLIES

Hello everyone! I'm here today to share with you the card I made for August in StarStampz.  This delightful image is called Fireflies and can be found in their Etsy shop here!

A fond memory of mine growing up was to be out in the evening with my brothers and sisters catching these wonderful little bugs and putting them into a jar and watch them all light up. No harm was done to them and they were soon released from the jar back to the grasses where found. ☺ StarStampz has a monthly challenge that you can join here! This month is challenge #49, Using your favorite color combination. (mine is orange and yellow)

AN OCEAN BREEZE...

I wanted to share this beach card that I made.  Living on the East Coast we really enjoy the beaches during our short summer season.

I used various Copics and Zig markers for the coloring, along with blending brushes, Sea Glass Gina K Designs ink and a white opaque marker.

The card stock is Blue Raspberry by Gina K Designs and a piece of DP from my stash for the sand. The clouds were made using Frantic Stampers Slimline Clouds Stencil (FRA-STN-015). The beautiful raised palm trees is a Frantic Stamper die called Palm Tree Edger (FRA-DIE-10457) and the sentiment and seagulls are from a clear stamp set called Ocean Lighthouse (FRA-CL-136).

FRIENDS

Just wanted to quickly post this card that I'd made earlier and didn't get around to posting it. I made several of these for friends and used different colored card stock for the backgrounds. They made great thinking of you cards just to keep in touch.

The die I used is called Good Friends Daisy Frame and is made by Frantic Stamper (FRA-DIE-09427).

Hello everyone! I was asked to be a guest designer again this month over at Star Stampz. The July theme this month is Christmas in July. Their image that I selected for this theme is called "The Nutcracker Holiday" and can be found in the Star Stampz Etsy store here

Such a cute image! I love nutcrackers so this image caught my eye right away.

I was asked to be a guest designer over at Star Stampz this month! The challenge starting today is "Whatever the Weather" so I chose the image called "Beach Days" which can be found in their Etsy store here.

As we're quickly moving into the summer season I thought this would be the perfect image to use.

Dragonflies are such beautiful little creatures and all around us this time of the year. I am using Frantic Stamper dies to make my card that I'm sharing with you today.

The dragonfly is called Dragonfly Pair (FRA-DIE-09452) a nice die that makes the top and bottom layer of the dragonfly. I used a die called Tied Strings (FRA-DIE-09667) and one of my favorite dies......Brush Script Hello (FRA-DIE-10195). I use this die a lot. It has such a pretty font and the perfect size for making cards that you send just to say HELLO. My favorite kind of card....just to send to people to let them know they are being thought of. 😊

SPRING CARDS

Here in New England we all look forward to spring arriving!  Here are a couple of cards I made to welcome spring. 😊

The Welcome Spring card is super cute and an easy make using Garden Birdhouses die (FRA-DIE-09415). For the tree branch I used the Birthday Owls die set (FRA-DIE-11020) and the greeting is from a clear stamp set called Spring is Blooming (FRA-DIE-09415) All these products are from Frantic Stamper, Inc.

This card was made using the Spring is Blooming clear stamp set (FRA-CL-043) The set has several flowers and greetings so has lots of potential for many different cards. I also used a vase from a die that is simply called Vases (FRA-DIE-10984). The greeting is the Reverse-Cut Spring Words die (FRA-DIE-10609). I used an embossing folder from Stampin Up called Square Lattice for the background. All other products are from Frantic Stamper, Inc.

EASTER CARDS 2023

I wanted to share these two cute Easter cards that I made this year. I made a few of each to send to family and friends.

These little bunny images are both by Whipper Snapper. I colored them with Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers. The lined background DP is by MFT and the plaid DP is from an Impression Obsession paper pad called Spring Plaids.  The Easter die used is called Block Easter by Frantic Stamper.
