It was recently my sister Brenda's birthday. She isn't into making cards, but she is fantastic with a sewing machine! One of the things she likes to do is quilt. What better birthday card for her then a quilted looking one! Here is what I came up with...
I used MFT's Quilt Square Cover-Up die and their Dotted Scallop Border Die-namic to make the card. Other than that, there were only a few other things needed as the quilt pattern takes up most of the card front. These are the other things I used...
My Minds Eye - DP from the Dolled Up Collection
SU - Lucky Limeade card stock
SU - Curly Cute Stamp Set
Button  from my button stash collection was used for the star center

We actually spent her birthday together at a weekend quilt sew. Had lots of fun, and both got going on a new quilt!

Until next time...

I've really needed a bunch of birthday cards lately...here is the newest one for a stamping friend of mine, Pat.

I started out using a beautiful card stock color from Gina K Designs called Applemint. Next I used a white layer and then a layer of DP from the Little Princess Collection made by Recollections. Using MFT Zig Zag Stitched Oval STAX, I made the center ovals from both Applemint and white card stock. The flower image is one of my very favorite floral images called Rose Garden, made by Fun Stampers Journey. Copic markers YG11, RV10, and R81 were used to color the flowers and leaves. Blueprints 29 die by MFT was used to cut the pieces for my greeting which is from SU's Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.  To give my card a little bit of razzle dazzle, I used a couple of Go Green sequins to finish it off.
I hope you liked your card, Pat!

Until next time...

Happy Easter everyone!  I stumbled upon an Easter digital image that I've had for a few years and have never used. Digital images are easy....they take up no space, you can just print them off, and there are no stamps to clean afterwards!

Here are the products I used to make this card:

Lovely Lilac card stock - SU
Tempting Turquoise card stock - SU
Green Galore card stock - SU
Daffodil Yellow card stock - SU
DP - Plaid Patterns - MFT
Blueprints #20 - MFT
Stitched Rectangle Scallop Edge Frames - MFT
Various Copics
Wink of Stella-clear (used for the center of the flower & the eggs)

Until next time...

Easter is only a few days away. I made a few different cards this year, but this one was made for my daughter.
I started out using Pretty in Pink card stock by SU for my card base, following with a white panel and some new DP from MFT called Dots & Stripes confection. Here's the list of additional supplies used in making the card.

Daffodil Yellow card stock -SU
Green Galore card stock - SU
Blueprints #3 - MFT
Stitched Dome STAX - MFT
Grassy Edges Die-namic - MFT
Stitched Oval Word Windows - MFT
Various Copic markers for the coloring
Spring Fling Stamp Set - Gina K Designs
Teeny Tiny Wishes - SU

Then to finish off my card, I popped up a little butterfly using a SU dimensional and then added 3 little GO GREEN sequins.

I hope everyone has a great Easter!

Until next time...

SU - Perfect Plum, Certainly Celery, Pumpkin Pie ink.
MFT - Summer Splash card stock.
