WHEN IT RAINS ON YOUR PARADE...

The April swap this month had the theme of April Showers.  Right away I thought of this image, as I love little rain boots. :)

I used a black card base and topped it with a white panel cut by using MFT's Stitched Rectangle Scallop Edge Frame Die-namics. The insert was a piece of fabulous MFT's Itsy Bitsy Polka Dots DP and then a smaller scalloped rectangle frame in black card stock before adding my center focal piece on white card stock.  The main image is from Great Impressions and the small little umbrella is by Lockhart Stamp Co.  Various colors of Copic markers were used for color. To finish off the card, two circles were cut for the umbrella and popped up on the card using SU's dimensionals.

IT'S A BOY!

This card was made to send to some very excited first time grandparents, Dawn and Mike. Their son and his wife welcomed little Evan into the world on April 25th. I am very happy for them all.

I've had this image for years! I have no idea who the manufacturer is. It's an unmounted red rubber image that was bought many years ago at a stamp convention.  Here are the other products used to make this card.
